Stephen Colbert responds to the New York Post

I’m all about Stephen Colbert’s response to last week’s headline in the New York Post. I wonder how many other headlines we can make up with the word “hooker” where it makes no sense.

Natalie is a writer, editor and stripper from California who works there and in Las Vegas. She strapped on her first pair of seven-inch stilettos and never looked back, despite taunts from the bartender of "Why don't you brush your hair?" and "Grunge isn't cool any more." Ignoring those who were determined to crush her dreams, Natalie persevered, still doesn't brush her hair, and is doing pretty fuckin' fine nonetheless. Also, grunge will always be cool, and the bartender was eventually fired for being an asshole.

  1. You guys may want to decide whether your target audience is from all around the world or just American.
Because this video is not playable for non-US i.p. addresses. It’s similar with Hulu – I know that it’s very popular in the US and provides high-quality videos but most US content won’t play outside of it.

    • Some video content is only available through those venues because the owners aggressively prosecute attempts to share it on other sites and want to keep it in a place where they can control it. There are a lot of Leonard Cohen interviews I can’t watch because I don’t have a Canadian IP, but I don’t give up being a fan of Leonard Cohen because of it. I have a reasonable amount of faith that people reading this site outside of the US aren’t going to swear us off because they have technical problems with one post.
