I just hated this movie instinctively, deeply, immediately. It made me want to smash the television, but I was at a friend’s house and she might have gotten pissed about that.

One of the worst films I’ve seen in my entire life. It was so obviously, utterly contrived. About as unrealistic as a movie could get, and I knew that long before I ever worked in the sex industry. Nice to see the exact reasons it sucked monkey balls broken down in such a cogent fashion by SuzyHooker.

And yeah Gere is the consummate douchebag, in this as much as in any of his films.
