This is a great conversation. I have to operate UTR so I try to avoid advertising. My business relies on word of mouth. I have clients that I've been seeing for over a decade. Through their referrals I have developed a network. I keep track of who is connected to who. It provides me with security in a number of ways. I keep "book" on most of them because the thing about clients who I call regulars or potential regulars is that they all have a need to feel special and they will gravitate to providers that they "connect" with. Admittedly the time spent on texting or e-mails can be draining especially trying to remember "special" things about all these guys. I appreciate the comments people have made about tricks for remembering things about clients, but what I do is to have a set of standard routines and responses like texting them and telling them that I'm thinking of you or "there's lots to talk about," "we have the ability to talk for hours." I know that some of these guys have dropped off because they come to the conclusion that there is a system to my communication, but most want to hope that there is more too it. I know what to do with the clients that fall for the routines and for the most part they keep coming back because I give them what they want. Mainly a fantasy about intimacy with a beautiful woman. That way, so far, the ones that don't fit don't become regulars or troublesome.

I liked this conversation. I've mostly disliked most of my regulars, but really appreciated them at the same time. When I was a stripper I was terrible at hustling so regulars were essential. Now as an escort, I just feel way safer with regulars. With one major regular who provides probably 90% of my income, and a handful of other more casual regulars, I almost never have to take on any new clients.

"Then there are the “why on earth do you keep booking me?” guys who will make appointments really consistently, but complain the whole time, appearing generally unhappy with their experience."

My clientele is mostly long-term regulars, and I've had a number of these guys. I call them scene-saboteurs. They tell you what they want, you try to make the magic happen for them - and then they sabotage it, every time. It's so emotionally draining, and it makes the time go sooooooo slowly...

What I have learned, after years of session-hours with them that passed like decades, is: they don't WANT to have what *I would define as* a good experience. So - I stopped stressing myself out trying to make them accept and experience it. I let them create the session they clearly want, no matter what they SAY. It's - what makes them comfortable. That's the only conclusion I can come to.

There are only sixty minutes in every hour. You can sweat them, or you can not. My advice is: don't.
