Hey all – REMEDY got picked up at the Sex Worker Fest in SF. It’s screening 5/23 at 8:15pm at the Roxie. If you’re in the area, please do check it out. I don’t often get the opportunity to screen the film in the US (even though it’s been allllll over the less prudish parts of the globe).

I just saw the film last night, and I definitely second the notion of house girls/former house girls screening.

It was … not an easy watch, but very worth it.

I’ve worked in 3 commercial dungeons in Manhattan. I want to see this film, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to sit through it.

I am almost positive that I know who Elephantitis Nut is. If I’m thinking of the right guy, he was so foul that I couldn’t session with him. Oh God.

What this review reminds me of is just how weird our business is. We see some of the weirdest goddamned things. It can be fun…but other days, I wonder if I’m exposing myself to significant psychological harm. Not because the work is “bad” or any of the Anti BS…but because I have seen some weird, weird shit that, frankly, I would have been happy to live the rest of my life and NOT see. Shit that I literally would not have been able to make up if I tried–and I was a practicing sadomasochist for years before I went pro.
