Oh, I’m totally in debt and am addicted to shopping online! I guess I was just confused why the movie made it seem like it was just dancers who would be in debt and like to buy stuff they can’t afford. I figured the majority of the North American population was like that, regardless of their occupations! And thanks for the feedback everyone, I really appreciate it 🙂

This was a great review! I really enjoyed reading it. I like the way you write. As I was reading it, I was imagining it in the voice of one of my friends, who is also a stripper and also originally from Winnipeg (although I’m pretty sure she’s not you).

Excellent and accurate review. For once, JUST once, can we get a slightly more depiction of the typical stripper? This former stripper (with a Masters degree) would appreciate that. Poor, silly, confused dancer just needed a man to save her and then happily ever after! Puke.

I’ve seen this film. I did found the vending machine weird but thought that it was somewhere else but time constraints placed it in the club.
What got to me was that an accountant would recommend opening a restaurant. In three years she’d more than likely than not have a failed business on her hands*.

There is also the issue that being able to cook doesn’t mean she’d be a good chef (although the S&M gear might).
